Creaking floor

Charles,

That's correct delamination. It's when the plywood floor separates from the lower insulation. It has to be treated as it forms part of the strength to the overall structure of the caravan.

It has happened to my caravan (17 years old) caused by wear & tear of bouncing up and down on roads etc.

I bought two kits from Ebay £30 each and treated it myself. You have to lift the cover over the floor and drill in a set pattern around the affected area. You mix two liquids together then inject the mix in to the floor until it starts to seep out and move on to the next hole. You have about 30 minutes to do this but depends on the weather, you may get longer. You then put weights on it and leave it over night. I filled the water barrels and bags of sand and put these on the floor. It's been fine.

The kits come with everything you need.
