Having had two winter weekends away cancelled due to floods, we decided to get off for a long weekend in February staying at a five van site in Lincolnshire. Snow and more rain a couple of days before setting off, but still a firm pitch on arrival. At least plenty of sunshine with frosty mornings; all the fun of caravanning and Haldex 4x4 also helps.
It is a Caravan Club five van site which is very good, well sheltered and well spaced EHU points. £9.00 per night, a good saving.
Even the Lincolnshire 'drains' were having problems, sides in a state of subside.
