I wrote to a few ferry companies today asking if they can keep us informed of any special deals for caravans. P&O North Sea replied to say that they have an ongoing offer whereby caravans travel free at weekends. You just pay for the towcar, passengers and cabin.
I've used the Hull Zeebrugge route many times for motorcycle tours so can't speak about the ferry from a caravanners point of view but I find the route very convenient. Good food on board, comfortable cabins and you sleep while the ferry takes you South.
Well worth pricing up for folks based in the North.
